Volunteers are the backbone of Safe Haven

Our volunteers support us in many different capacities.  We need people to fill many roles here at Safe Haven.  Below is a partial list of volunteer opportunities to work with us and provide a healthy and fun environment for the animals. Any questions, call us 864-246-4425.

• Working on site - to feed, clean and repair habitats, provide enrichment and work with the animals 
• Special events - from set up to break down and all parts in between we can use engaged individuals that want to share the beauty of these animals, and how we serve them, with the community.
• Education Programs - need help transporting animals, help the educator at the program site to handle animals and talk with the attendees.
• Administrative - whether making calls, sending mailings, flyers, shopping, organizing, or helping on special events to gather the community and execute, we need you too
• Group work days - if your group would like to come out and work for the day we welcome you, please call for more information
• Adopt-a-Highway - Safe Haven has been cleaning a stretch of road through the Adopt-a-highway program for many years and can always use another set of hands to pick up trash a few times a year
